You can cut the top portion off and fold it inside the corresponding story or you can just fold the whole thing. Put each day in an envelope marked with that day on it (ie., Day 1, Day 2, etc). Put them in order and place them in a cellophane bag or large white envelope. Put a picture of the Savior on the front. You are ready to send this wonderful package idea to your missionary. It is a great package to send them for Easter or Christmas or for their one year mark. It is also a great uplifting package to send them anytime they need a spiritual boost.
When my missionary was on his mission I asked him one time what he needed. He said "more mail mom" and said that if families knew how important mail was to their missionary they would always send them mail. This is great support for them.
Missionaries even go so far as to call the UPS man the 'brown Santa'. If they saw him while they were out they would be as excited as a child on Christmas Eve and would say "Oh - there's the brown Santa - let's go home and check the mail."
